Victorian Trade Cards

Trade cards were used from 1876 to 1900 in the United States, as a form of product advertising. Many Trade cards were printed using bright, vivid colors, with interesting and sometimes humorous illustrations on one side, and the product details and merchant info on the reverse side of the Trade card. The Trade cards we feature today do not have printing on the backs.

All three Trade cards have USE MUZZY'S STARCH printed on the front and have a fantasy theme using children and insects on these Victorian Trade cards.

They measure 5-1/2" by 3-12" and are in very good condition.
Two of these Trade cards are marked in lower right corner,
Shober & Carqueville, Lith. Co. Chicago.
